The taxi terminal in Tétouan is usually located at the taxi stand next to the bus station. However, you can ask the driver to drop you off at any other location within the city of Tétouan at no extra charge, as long as you inform them of your destination at the start of the ride.

Although Tétouan is not directly served by Morocco’s railway network, you can travel to Tangier, a major rail hub with excellent connections to most Moroccan cities, and then continue to Tétouan by taxi, bus, or rental car.

For this journey, another option is to book a private taxi to Tétouan, whether you are traveling alone, with family, or with friends, as long as the total number of passengers does not exceed six. In this case, the taxi can drop you off at any location within the Tétouan Metropole, rather than just at taxi stations. The minimum fare for this option is 240 dirhams (6 passengers × 40 dirhams), but the price may be higher for destinations farther from the city center. Therefore, it is highly recommended to negotiate the fare with the driver before departure.

A seamless option is to book a combined train and bus ticket. The Supratours bus departs directly from Tangier’s station and takes you straight to Tétouan.

These buses stop at Tétouan’s central bus terminal, conveniently located for accessing the city and surrounding areas.

To Tetouan CTM Station:

CTM, a premium bus operator, uses its own terminal in Tétouan, offering a more structured and reliable service. This can be a preferable choice for travelers seeking comfort and punctuality. The CTM station is conveniently located in the city center. From there, you can reach Plaza Primo, the heart of the city, with a 10 to 15-minute walk or by taking a yellow taxi for just 7 MAD (approximately 0.7 euros).

Traveling by ship is another option for reaching Tétouan, particularly for those coming from Europe.

To Mediterranean Port:

Located about 60 km from Tétouan, Mediterranean Port is one of the busiest ports in Morocco, offering regular ferry services from Spain, France, and Italy. Travelers can arrive here and continue to Tétouan by car, taxi, or bus. The drive from Tangier Med to Tétouan takes about 1 hour via well-maintained roads.

To Ceuta Port:

For those starting in Spain, ferries from Algeciras to Ceuta provide a quick connection. From Ceuta, Tétouan is just a 45-minute drive along the N13 road. While there are no direct buses for travelers, there are buses operated by tour agencies, as well as taxis available from the border for onward travel.
