The first part of the 13th edition of the Festival Voix de Femmes in Tetouan has come to a close, after two evenings marked by large crowds and a festive atmosphere.
With a compact yet rich program, the edition reaffirmed the festival’s commitment to showcasing female talent and promoting a modern and diverse Moroccan artistic scene, according to a statement from the organizers.
Held under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, the festival once again highlighted Tetouan’s public attachment to this event and its role as a unifying platform for women’s voices, the statement emphasized.
The closing night featured two standout performances. Lebanese singer Diana Haddad, one of the most anticipated acts, captivated the audience with her powerful voice and repertoire, electrifying the stage with her signature songs.
Meanwhile, Jaylann, a rising star of Moroccan urban pop, brought freshness and energy through a style blending rap influences with catchy melodies, embodying the diversity and vitality of today’s female voices.
Building on the success of this first part, the Voix de Femmes Association now looks ahead to the second stage, dedicated to social and solidarity-based initiatives, to be held from September 18 to 20, 2025.
In partnership with local stakeholders, several initiatives will be carried out in support of women’s health and well-being, notably at the Sidi Frej Center, the Kouilma Social Complex, and the Tetouan penitentiary center.
Through these initiatives, the Festival Voix de Femmes continues its mission to amplify women’s voices in all their forms while strengthening the bond between culture and solidarity in the heart of Tetouan.
